Vol. 4 No. 4 (2025): APLIKATIF: Journal of Research Trends in Social Sciences and Humanities
This issue presents interdisciplinary studies addressing governance, empowerment, education, and socio-cultural dynamics in contemporary society. It features research on local government roles in waste management and socio-economic impacts of tourism development on employment and community welfare. Several contributions highlight empowerment and education, including communication strategies for women-led MSMEs, the influence of social privilege on cognitive empathy among university students, the role of scholarships in fostering student engagement, and innovative learning approaches using webtoon-based reading in EFL contexts. Other studies explore indigenous socio-ecological governance rooted in local values, pragmatic analysis of expressive speech acts in film, and customer satisfaction linking product diversity, service quality, and repurchase intention in retail settings. Together, these articles offer applied perspectives on social transformation, cultural understanding, and sustainable development across diverse contexts.
