Ownership and Publisher

APLIKATIF is published and institutionally administered by Lembaga Riset dan Inovasi Masyarakat Madani, a research and publishing institution established by Yayasan Ruang Masyarakat Madani, a non-profit foundation in Indonesia.

The publisher is responsible for supporting the journal's organizational continuity, publishing infrastructure, administrative operations, and implementation of established publication policies.

The journal's institutional identity, publishing affiliation, and editorial management are publicly disclosed to ensure transparency and accountability.

Ownership and institutional publishing responsibilities are distinct from copyright in individual scholarly articles, which is governed by the journal's applicable copyright and licensing terms.

02 / EDITORIAL ROLES

Editorial Management

APLIKATIF is managed by an Editorial Team consisting of an Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, and editorial production personnel, supported by independent peer reviewers.

Editorial responsibilities are distributed as follows:

Editor-in-Chief: Provides editorial leadership, oversees scholarly quality and publication ethics, supervises the peer-review process, and holds final responsibility for decisions concerning submitted manuscripts.

Associate Editors: Assist with editorial screening, manuscript handling, reviewer selection, evaluation of review reports, and recommendations concerning editorial decisions.

Peer Reviewers: Independently evaluate manuscripts based on scholarly merit, methodological rigor, originality, relevance, and ethical standards.

Editorial Production Team: Coordinates copyediting, proofreading, manuscript formatting, publication preparation, and associated editorial production activities.

The Editorial Team manages scholarly evaluation and publication decisions in accordance with the journal's established editorial policies.

03 / ACADEMIC AUTONOMY

Editorial Independence

APLIKATIF maintains editorial independence in all decisions concerning the evaluation, acceptance, revision, and rejection of submitted manuscripts.

Editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, originality, methodological appropriateness, relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, peer-review assessments, and compliance with publication ethics.

INDEPENDENCE OF EDITORIAL DECISIONS

The publisher, affiliated institutions, funding sources, and other external parties must not interfere with editorial decisions concerning individual manuscripts.

Manuscripts submitted by authors affiliated with the publisher, editorial personnel, or associated institutions are subject to the same editorial standards and peer-review requirements as other submissions.

Editors and reviewers must disclose relevant conflicts of interest. Where a conflict could compromise impartiality, responsibility for the manuscript must be reassigned to an appropriately qualified and independent editor or reviewer.

These principles are implemented in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Process and Conflict of Interest Policy.

The publisher supports the organizational and administrative functions necessary for the journal's publishing activities.

Information concerning Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, and applicable waivers is publicly available through the journal's Publication Fees policy.

Financial considerations must not influence manuscript evaluation or editorial decisions. Payment of any applicable publication fee does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.
